Brooklyn McDougall is a former amateur hockey player who played her last three seasons at a AAA level. She had a very successful ten-year career in hockey that included many notable accomplishments. Brooklyn received an MVP award, was appointed a captain on three separate teams, represented Calgary at the 2012 Alberta Winter Games and was invited to the U18 Team Alberta Selections Camp in 2014.

Despite it being her first season in long track speed
skating, McDougall represented her home province of Alberta at the 2015 Canada Winter Games.
Brooklyn is from Calgary, Alberta and is an Honor’s student at Ernest Manning High School. In 2014, she received the Top Math Award, as well as the Citizenship Award at her school. She plans to attain a post-secondary science degree at the University of Calgary, while pursuing her goals as a speed skater.
